Policy
Our Goal: When Wally and I decided to sell
daylilies, we made several decisions about how we would conduct our
business. First, we would sell only large, healthy plants; second, we
would give our customers value for their money by keeping prices low while
supplying double fans or better of the best plants we had; and third, we
would provide excellent customer service. We live by these decisions. We
hope that if you are ever displeased with our plants or service for any
reason, you will let us know. We want happy customers.
Orders: Many cultivars are in short supply so please order promptly
so as not to be disappointed. Full payment is required prior to shipping.
We accept checks and money orders as well as payment through PayPal.com.
If paying through PayPal using a charge card, please confirm availability
before ordering. Kentucky residents should add 6% sales tax. If we are out
of a particular cultivar and you have not provided a list of acceptable
substitutions, your money will be promptly refunded. In addition to the
on-line shopping cart, you may also order by telephone (502-477-5854), fax
(502-477-1081), or email (info@possumridgedaylilies.com).
Guarantee: Plants are guaranteed to be healthy and true to name.
Please notify us immediately upon arrival of your plants if you are not
satisfied. We will be happy to either replace the plants or refund your
money. In either case, return the plants with original tags attached as
soon after arrival as possible. DO NOT PLANT. We are a licensed,
state-inspected garden. We did find one plant with daylily rust last fall.
All plants were cut back and sprayed.
Shipping: Weather permitting, we will begin shipping May 1 or as
soon as plants have recovered from winter and continue through September.
If you need your plants shipped at a more convenient time for your growing
area, please let us know. We will try to accommodate your request if at
all possible. Please indicate your preferred shipping date and we will
ship your plants as close to the time you request as possible. We ship U.
S. Priority Mail unless otherwise specified. Shipping cost is $7.00 plus
$0.50 per plant over 2 plants. Sorry, we can ship only within the
continental United States.
Pricing: Prices in this catalog supersede all earlier prices.
Prices are for a minimum of double fans unless otherwise noted.
Gift Plants: We are happy to provide gift plants for all orders over
$20 excluding sales tax and shipping. Gift plants are
grower’s choice. However, if you provide a list of substitutions, we will
be glad to select gift plants from that list if at all possible
Substitutions: If we are out of a particular cultivar, we will
substitute with a plant of equal or greater value provided you have given
us permission to substitute AND have provided us with a long list of
acceptable substitutions.
Garden Hours: We would love to have you come visit and take a tour
around our garden. However, please call before you come to make sure that
someone will be at home. We are usually in the garden from early morning
until dusk so the best time to call is before 8:00 a.m. or after 8:30 p.m.
Dazzling Daylily Days: During peak bloom we will be open to the
public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 12:00 –
5:00 p.m. on Sunday on the following weekends: June 16 – 18, 23 - 25, 30 –
July 2 and July 7 - 9. Please come and be overwhelmed by the dazzling
display of daylilies. We are sorry that we will be unable to dig plants
for our visitors to take home during these weekends. However, you can call
ahead and have an order ready to pick up or we will be happy to ship them
to you.
